My Journey.
My name is Danielle Shatkin
I was first diagnosed with diabetes just before my third birthday. Growing up with diabetes, I have personally experienced the ups and downs of sugar control (literally and figuratively). My parents have always said "no one without diabetes can truly know how a diabetic feels to ____." (fill in the blank). Helping others manage their diabetes is my passion. I know first hand how frustrating things can be when you do everything right and your sugars go out of whack. As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetic Educator, I specialize in diabetes management. I understand the challenges of living with this condition. My goal is to provide you with the education, tools and resources you need to take control of your health and optimize your sugar control. Let me help you with your journey with diabetes.
